iRZ Radiomodem

Radiomodemsare the separate class of devices intended for data transmission through radio-channel and performing the function of high quality dedicated digital line. Those modems work at rates from 1.2 up to 19.2 kbps for the distance up to 50 km. Some models support “point-point”, “point – multipoint” and retranslation operating modes which allows to realize any network configuration.

iRZ RADIOMODEM - adio-modem is an embeddable solution for wireless data transmission at rates 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400 and 76800 baud. The transmitter operates at the frequency of 433.92 MHz with power 10 mWt, which allows to apply the radio-modem without getting any special permission.

The ports are RS232 / RS485. The dimensions are 69.5х28.5х12 mm.

The modem operated with external antennas with 433..435 MHZ frequencies, with empedance 50 Ohm. The type of antenna is selected on the base of communication tasks. The communication range depends on the number of factors, the main of which are the type of location, rate of data transmitted, transmitter output voltage, type of antenna used, radio interference.

OEM development board includes:

• power supply stabilizer;
• level converters RS-232 and RS-485;
• LED indicators, reflecting the signal status;
• Buttons and switches imitating external signals.
