In May 2010 the temperature testing of GSM modems and routers was started, including the exposures to high and low temperatures. The purpose of testing is functionality measurements in different temperature modes and the definition of critical temperature values. For each model the measurements are performed in the climate chamber CM 70/75-80 TX simultaneously for two devices, randomly chosen from the lot. The positive temperature exposure measurements are performed on switched on devices (standby mode) and after 30 minute exposure at the set chamber temperature.
The negative temperature exposure measurements are performed on switched off devices after 30 minute exposure at the set chamber temperature in (cold start). The main task of the testing is to make the device operation stable: AT-command response, network registration stability, correct data receiving and transmission; besides to define the critical temperature values for normal, extensive and limit.

Also the high humidity does not effect the visual appearance of the product. There are no corrosion and surface damage. |
